Welcome back dear readers and fellow hobby and table top miniature game enthusiasts. The new year is settling in quite nicely. Everybody in the miniatures hobby world seems to have great plans and lots of projects lined up. Naturally, Caution: Bonds Skin Instantly is no exception. What started out as a little personal blog has done quite well in the last year, with almost 20,000 views now, which I found quite surprising and inspiring when I learned. I do my best to keep the blog up to date and relevant, with quality content, photos, and articles, even though it is done purely for a hobby.
And it's really starting to gain momentum and to show. I must thank all the readers who have been following since I started this blog just about two years ago, and to those who have even subscribed and follow the blog, anxiously waiting (and sometimes prodding) for the next update.
Well, to thank you, and to celebrate the growing success of the blog I have decided to create a YouTube Channel. This endeavor started several months ago, but I waited until the new year to actually go live for several reasons. The first was my lack of hardware, specifically a decent video camera. I now am in possession of two 1080P HD capable cameras and have been practicing using them before I actually did a proper recording.
Well, now that the new year is here, the YouTube Channel is officially live, with a couple videos I took the other day to show off some recent projects that I'll be starting.
The first is a nautical themed Ork Battlewagon, which was a commission I had done by a friend of mine for my personal Ork army project, which I'm slowly making progress on (admittedly slower than my original plan, and yes, I do owe you some updates on that).
The second video features an unboxing and initial look at a group of recent Ebay auction I had won, which included several MKI Predators as well as a MKIb Land Raider. All of these are future projects that I plan to start shortly. The first of them will be the Land Raider, for which I'm waiting on some parts, and expect to begin around mid January.
In conclusion, I hope you enjoy these videos. Yes, the sound quality is a little bit poor, but I'm working on that and evaluating some software that is supposedly capable of cleaning it up and keeping the hiss and the clipping and noise down. Hopefully I'll be able to remaster the sound once I have that sorted. But I didn't want to delay posting the videos any longer.
Please be sure to check out the Caution: Bonds Skin Instantly YouTube channel, and if you like what you see, Like the videos and subscribe!

Ah, what a glorious Ork Battleshipwagon! Man, it's gorgeous. I want one ;_; Cannot wait to see it painted. Also, good job on finding all those Predators and the Proteus!
ReplyDelete@Skarvald: Yes. It's quite a nice wagon, and my friend did a fantastic job designing it. And yep, I'm very happy about that lot of tanks I picked up. I suspect we'll be seeing more of them on the market now that the FW tanks are available. I noticed an uptick in them being sold off even before the MK1 Predator and Proteus were available.
